ProCup Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us, and we take our responsibility of caring for it seriously. We respect your privacy rights and are committed to protecting the personal information that is collected about you.

This Privacy Policy describes what information ProCup collects and how we use and store it. If you do not want ProCup to collect, store, use or share your information in the ways described in this Privacy Policy, you may not be able to use our app. All of our Services, whether used on mobile devices, PCs or other platforms, are governed by this Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you hereby consent to this Privacy Policy.

1 - How we collect your information

Collected information is a randomly generated user number, your location when publishing new posts and device information such as UUID for us to easily identify unique users and reproduce data to devices in case of re-downloading the application.

When you send or receive messages or content, we also collect, process and store the contents on our servers hosted by third party providers so that the content then can be viewed by others using the application.

2 – Information we collect

ProCup collects only adequate and relevant information limited to the purposes defined hereunder.

  • IP address and device identifiers (such as your device ID, MAC address, IMEI)
  • Information about your device (such as device name and operating system, browser information, including browser type and the language you prefer)
  • General geolocation information
  • Precise geolocation information (GPS)
  • Information that we receive if you decide to connect to a third-party social network (such as Facebook)

3 – How we use your information

We primarily use the information to provide you with a better app experience, but we also use your information, both individually and combined, as follows:
To operate our business and to enhance your app experience, including to:

  • track your use of the Services to help us learn more about your app activities and understand your preferences and tendencies, so that we can personalize your experience, facilitate sharing on social networks
  • identify and fix bugs and service errors
  • use it for administration, analytics, research, and optimization
  • compile statistics
  • comply with all regulatory and legal requirements, and answer any requests from Data Protection Authorities or any law-enforcement agency

4 – How we share your information

We do not share your information with other parties.

However, we use third-party services (Facebook) that have limited access to your information If you decide, while using our Services, to use social sharing features such as “Share” or “Like” on Facebook or other third-party social network sites, this may allow the sharing and collection of personal and non-personal information both to and from such third-party social networks. You should visit the policies of such third parties for more information about their information-collection practices.

We reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies activities that we, in good faith, believe to be illegal. We take, and force applicable third parties to take, reasonable precautions to protect your personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorized disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

However, please remember that no transmission of data over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee the security of your information and do not assume any responsibility for the unauthorized use of, or access to, your information that is under our control.

6 - Removing Data or Information

We will remove your personal data at any time if you oppose to the use of data or if we are obligated to do so by law.

In case a deletion is not possible due to legal, statutory or contractual retention periods, or if it requires disproportionate efforts or prejudices your legitimate interests, the data will be made unavailable instead of deleted.

You can also delete content that you have posted on Procup. Content that you have deleted will be hidden from other users. However the content may be kept by Procup longer before it is being deleted.

We process personal data in compliance with the relevant data protection regulations of the GDPR.

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights. Procup aims to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your Personal Data. If you wish to be informed what Personal Data we hold about you and if you want it to be removed from our systems, please contact us. In certain circumstances, you have the following data protection rights: The right to access, update or to delete the information we have on you. Whenever made possible, you can access, update or request deletion of your Personal Data directly within your account settings section. If you are unable to perform these actions yourself, please contact us to assist you.

You have the right to have your information rectified if that information is inaccurate or incomplete.

You have the right to object to our processing of your Personal Data.

You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal information.

You also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time where Procup relied on your consent to process your personal information.

8 -Retention of Data

Procup will retain your Personal Data only for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies. Procup will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Service, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

Our Services operate AS IS, and we do not represent or warrant that our Services will be available at all times, or that your use of the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free.
